Great thread , fellas! I just got a cleaning kit for my M39 mosin-nagant but I still need a bayonet, stripper clips and a sling. I put a K98 sling on it for the meantime.
    Dean.

Thats an M28, not an M39...

It sits in an M27 stock, which is seen on M28s that were refurbed post-war..

I have couple textile slings with SA stamps of course, mint condition, and couple used leather slings.
I wonder, Dean, how much it cost to send you sling in a letter if you need...?
Bayonets are really expensive here these days, M/27-28 bayos starting from 120€ over 200€, and
M/39 with SKY stamps starting from 170 to 280€uros...!

And if you guys need clips, look here: Latauskampoja

My m/39 rifle (upper) with leather sling-to be honest, I doubt the sling would bear the weight of the rifle for any period of time compared to a web example...

I didn't think there were any M39 bayonets left, I read that they were all destroyed after the war. I see something else I need to save up for now.

You can still buy the M39 Bayonets in Finland , the Finnish army were selling them a few years ago for 150 euros each but now days you will need to find a dealer who is selling one but watch out for the US made fakes that turn up on Ebay at times normally with the wrong maker name on the bayonet
