Great pictures. I assume your great-grandfather was Valdemar Armas Kivelä?
could you maybe scan the pictures into your computer? It will be easier to see insignia, belt, uniform, etc. and it will maybe help you/us out a little.

The text is full of ''shortenings'' so even I, a native Finnish speaker cant understand all from it..

I can take picture of the medal and it's ribbon from front only, because it's attached to a frame with the certificate and it's pain in the arse to remove it In the back is ''Urheudesta and För Tapperheit'' If I remember correctly. The other medas are not with me, but with my relatives.

No that is the text on front! - on the back it says Suomen Kansalta. It was the years on the back I was searching for!
