    Here is few images from finnish army archives. Different uniforms can be seen. The swedish lieutenant-colonel is wearing a swedish M/23 fieldjacket with finnish collartabs and shoulder insignia. Swedish officer wearing officer´s M39 jacket with finnish rank insignia of captain at collar and lion insignia at shoulder boards. The winter image is from Lappland 1942. Finnish frontier guard is wearing a swedish M39-jacket.

    Being a Quartermaster in the Finnish forces must have been the hardest job in WW2-sorting out an incredible jumble of equipment from just about every major nation in the world and making it all work...

    I have always thought this too when you look at all the differet rifles used and Field guns and also aircraft used must have been nightmare for the Quatermaster issuing the right supplies to the right units
