Yes wartime used but also used post war so hard to know when it was made
M22 buckle and belt was used by finnish army/navy from 1920´s to early 1960´s. These buckles are without date. I have not yet seen manufacturing differences between buckle´s. Post-war made buckle for sure was made from aluminium and it is used even today by army honor guard´s brocade belt.
It should be remember, that finnish army instituted new pattern belt in 1930, the one spiked belt M/30 (virtually same as civil guards M/27). The M22 was going to be replaced even at relatively early date. New pattern leather belt was instituted in 1961 and it is two spiked belt, the M/61. the M/61 is used to day.

Post war reproduction from China, the lion symbol in originals tends to be much sharper.
