2 Finnish Winter war medal 1939-1940
Hi Kemi , i really like these Finnish Winter War medals , the ribbon clasps you show e.g. RANNIKKOPUOLUSTUS - stands for Coastal Forces and Kotijoukot -is for the Home Guard .
REGARDS AL
We are the Pilgrims , master, we shall go
Always a little further : it may be
Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea...
I'm glad you like them, I have x4 now and I plan to buy more.
how much do these typically go for? ive never seen one before and i would like to add one to my collection : )
I agree with ObKrieger. This is the first one I have seen and I really like that design of the rifleman and the font of the letters on this medal. I would like one also if it is fairly easy and inexpensive to obtain. Of course, ObKrieger gets the first one to come up. I will wait since he called it first.
I paid 80 for those two, but i paid 55 for my mint condition. it has swords and on the ribbon clasps it says POHJOIS - KARJALA
euro
are they pretty common in scandanavia?
both yes and no, it goes in waves, sometimes
