Anyone know anything about this sword?

Article about: Family story is that it came home from WWII. Looking to find out what it is and if it has any value. There are no markings on the tang as far as I could see.

It comes from the Philippines or Java, I have one similar.
I believe mine was brought back in the 80's.

Nah, it's either a Thai daab or a Burmese dha. I lived in Thailand from '68-'70 and often saw this style in stores or traditional Thai sword fighting.
