Help with Japanese Uniform

Sorting out military clothing lately and discovered some uniforms I picked up eons ago and forgot about. Here is a Japanese tunic and pant set I believe is unissued as there is no rank insignia or indication of wear. My knowledge of Japanese militaria was mostly Arisakas but I picked up a few associated items too. Hope for some feedback on this set as I have no clue and just took the pictures this AM. Thanks in advance!

Looks like a Type 98 Summer uniform. And yes, it looks unissued. As the "B" box is not filled in. There were tons of unissued uniforms. Nice to see someone didn't tart it up.

This link should be helpful. It looks like a size "3" (the 3 horizontal lines in the upper left column.) Not sure what size "3" means or even if I am correct. Others should be able to clear it up.

Nick is the expert. His sticky threads are fantastic resources. The book I noted is also great. A great chapter on the uniforms and markings.

But Nick researches the original regulations and writes up his findings.
