Picked this up recently to go with my white and green ones..having trouble translating this one, i think it says Captain..anyway its in lovely condition

It reads from right to left. In modern Japanese (left to right):

野津誠
Nodzu Makoto

Nodzu [and also Notsu] is the family name.
