No worries, I am happy to be of help. Rich, the creator of the website, is a good guy and is active in updating the website with new examples of badges, medals, etc. I always find something interesting whenever I peruse the site map, especially medals/badges focused on Manchukuo.

REGARDS AL
We are the Pilgrims , master, we shall go
Always a little further : it may be
Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea...
Those are very nice! The Scared Treasure is my favorite!
Thanks guys. They are very finely crafted and become more
ornate with higher grades. More to come.........
Regards,
Steve.
Very nice Steve, please do post more.
I only have a few myself for display purposes as I do not know very much about them either.

Hi Guys,
The era of issue is often determined by an examination of the award features. For example, with Kites, the length of the top three rows of wing feather tips and their relationship to each other, will help indicate the era of manufacture. In the case of the Rising Sun award one looks at the length and width of the white rays. The kanji on award cases often differs slightly and can be of great assistance.
May I suggest that any of you wishing to delve into Japanese awards consider purchasing these two books...
