Japanese flag with wierd inspection stamp?
This was brought home by a soldier in the 2 marines. Anyways Im trying to figure out what this flag says, but mainly whats the deal with this inspection stamp, possible blood marks? It all lines up even with the holes, thank you....any help would be wonderful .

The inspection stamp shows this flag was submitted to the J-2 [joint intelligence] to see if any intelligence could be gleaned from the writing. It was stamped then returned. I have a Japanese-language copy of Mein Kampf that was taken at Attu -- it also has a similar intelligence stamp.
Nice flag!! Mostly names, from what I can see; there are the main "headings" common to these flags.

those blood stains or just stains, what do you think ?
Just spray luminol on the flag and use a black light to see if the spots glow. CSI Las Vegas...by odessa1
I don't think this is blood staining, but it's a great flag.........!
