Japanese hat information

Hi, im wondering if anyone can provide any information about this hat.
I like it a lot and im very interested in knowing what it is.

Its an interesting hat, but I have never seen one before and its not in my reference books. Perhaps it belongs to a civil or paramilitary organisation.

Hi, its described as military school but that is not confirmed.
Therefore my doubts.

Thats interesting. On close inspection It looks as though it has the army star at the top of the badge, implying an army connection, but I dont think its regular army. Military school seems entirely plausible.

I don't know ... especially the wreath that circles the central design (what is it -- too much flash).

Perhaps a very early North Korean army or academy hat???


I didn't mark up the photo, that's how I found it. [But ....that's what I think ... coincidence?]

It's probably a middle school or high school hat, is there a clearer view of the cockade (I assume not since you lost the auction)? Each school has its own so sometimes you can find out which school it was.

Some schools still use similar hats but in navy blue or black.
