    Looks like an original shell to me - perhaps with the addition
    of the anchor being more recent.........

    Agreed-original shell in nice shape-yellow painted anchor=modern addition.

    Paint might be real could you post a picture without glare of just the anchor so I can see how old the paint is, it stands a chance of being real, the rest of the helmet looks fine to me though

    Gel65 / the guy has it posted on a sale sight and after a request iv herd nothing back from them, what were thinking it could be the symbol off??

    Looks like a striped helmet. Some shells were blued. Rivets were removed & recent fake yellow painted anchor added
