    the name of the leather navy is (SUDA) THE OFFICERS NAME COOL.i just asked my freind who i bought it froms wife ..just thought i would share as i liked it as i think it makes it just a little more special.....

    What you have is an 1873-1914 Naval officers service-dress belt for Ensign-Lieutenant as distinguished by the silver anchor/cherry blossom. The 1914-1945 buckles were universal for all officers regardless of rank and were entirely gold-plated brass . Good find! Jim
