What it the insignia on the grip screw?
The Japanese Red Cross did have dress dirks, but I don't have any photos.
Manchukuo used designs similar to the Japanese for their various dress swords and dirks, with different emblems.

Thanks for the reply didier, when you say grip screw? Are you talking about the flower? in the handle? other then that I have never dissambled this dagger
and have owned for over 12 years

Yes it is .I have been trying to find something about it on internet for awhile .I thought I read something about it in a book must have been in a library
