Japanese tropical trousers
Hi everyone. Just got these Japanese trousers/shorts/breeches and am trying to identify them. They are 43 dated and unissued. I am confused by the length of them. They look like shorts until you put them on a manaquin and then you can see that they are three quater length trousers or breeches. So can anyone tell me if these are army tropical issue and would they have been worn with putees? As the Japanese also issued long trousers i wonder why they issued these aswell, if they are intended to be used with putees? I cant get the colour consistent in the photographs, but it is light greyish green. Any help appreciated. Doug
