Japanese Type 99 Leather Ammo Pouch

Hello all,
I have been so busy with a new history teaching position, I have had little time to dedicate our fine hobby. In saying that, I have still found some great items which I will share.
This is an item I have been after for some time, and considering the numbers manufactured, which must have been very high, these are now quite difficult to source. A Japanese Type 99 ammo pouch, for the front of the belt I believe. It's really in very decent complete condition. Appears to be unmarked. I am very happy to add this to my collection!

I haven't eard of any type 99 pouch.
it isn't refered to in Nick's post

If i got it right this would be a modle 1939?

"Type 99 ammo pouch" is name given to these pouches by collectors. It is the later variant of Type 38 pouches. They made their debut in 1937.

It was not given a type designation as far as I know.
