    All the red wool backing on the front has been moth eaten. As far as I know, they used the same insignia whether it was a cotton or wool tunic

    Check my thread on a few that I have...the wool officers tunic has the same type (different rank).

    The light weight NCO tunics have a more simplified tab.

    Pictures are poor but you can double click and expand.

    thank you for sharing and solving this for me. I don't know much about the Japanese stuff, I don't collect it but it was cool. Thank you for sharing, Nice collection you got there.
