    Yes, an army winter patient's gown. Check whether it has the correct measurement for small size of 45 cm from collar to waist seam.
    The spec below was in use from 14th October 1941.

    I have this too small size and 1941 year, is a very heavy like a cotton combat dress, really high quality overcoat but i known it is a patient's gown, can you explain more up all the family of this hospital dress? Thanks

    Those were all introduced in the 1930 regulations. Not a gown, but an overcoat.
