That`s amazing Tom , i thank you so much for your skill , effort and time in unlocking for me , the secrets this flag holds . Believe me , i know how difficult it is to translate ancient Japanese and there are very few people who possess the talent , knowledge and memory to do it . I really appreciate it

Alan,

This one is not as busy and most of the writing is distinct. The Osaka Prefectural Tennoji Middle School and the Osaka Foreign Language School Patriotic Corps are the organizations on the lower RH corner.

Would like close ups of the following:

Red stamp in upper RH corner but flatten it out first. An official stamp of a temple, shrine, individual or organization.
The names from approx 0400-0550
From the lower left corner to 1130

Those would help a lot.

The photos are okay except the stamp. I think the solution would be for you to trace the characters and send them on. The wrinkles plus the one character overwhelmed by the ink would make further photos undecipherable also. Here is your chance to be artist.
