Order of the Sacred Treasure 8th class medal

Hello everyone,

Could you please help me with this Order of the Sacred Treasure 8th class medal, with its lapel badge and its box ? I'd like to know, from which era they are : 30s, WW2, 50s... Later ? It seems the medal is marked "M" on its back.

I've read there were many copies produced post-war for the Order of the Rising Sun 8th class medal, I don't know if this is the same for this one ?

The calligraphy style on the lid indicates pre-1925 style, but the lapel rosette is a post 1936 style that must have been added later. See here for lapel rosette evolution

Many have been awarded post war, I wouldn't call them "copies" as that implies they aren't real. Order of the sacred treasure and rising sun are still awarded today, although the 7th & 8th classes were phased out in 2003.
