    Default Possible Japanese Militaria?

    Gents,

    I need those in the know to chime in on this one. Saw this buckle for sale in my local area and though the obverse is what appears to be A Judo match, is is at all related to the Japanese military? The reverse exhibits no makers marks and looks as though it is a buckle of some sort. Sorry as well for I was in a rush and did get a picture of the reverse.
    Any additional information would greatly be appreciated.

    It is for the Kodokan Judo Institute and has nothing to do with militaria.

    Mid 1950s vintage to be exact, when they sold for 300 Yen as shown in these mail order ads from newspapers.
