I am interested in this flag but so far only have the one photo to go by. I would like to make an offer but as always thought I would get opinions re. authenticity. Thank you, nic.

Whats in made out of??? Silk, etc. Any marking on it??
I have one made of silk that can from a Veteran.

I would be cautious... that one looks amazingly mint... like it was made yesterday. I'm not saying the flag has to look ratty, but I'm automatically suspicious when I see something that old in that good of condition.

Thank you for the comments. I have requested some extra photos and asked about size, material markings.

The seller says "it is made from a durable linen and not marked, as close to perfect as any I have ever seen"
The size is about 4X6 feet.

I agree with Joe.

"Extremely mint" items always make me suspicious.
Investigate and be careful first.

I too Agree; Looks Too Mint to me. I would be suspicious also.

I don't feel good about this one. They've made-and still are today-Thousands upon thousands of these flags for decades now. Like the others have said, no leather corner tabs is not a good sign either.
