Request Help with Translation on Small Bowl or Cup

Hello everyone,

I've posted photos of a small porcelain bowl or cup that I inherited several years ago. I was told by family that it might date to the early 20th century and may have a military association, but I don't have any other information. It is 2 in. in diameter. There are no marks inside or on the bottom of the bowl. Any help with identification and translation, if possible, would be appreciated.
