Really interesting, the liner configuration with the linen pads looks just like the liner from the m16 stahlhelm. I assume the Japanese followed the design?

Looks to be 1939 dated. Nice helmet. The Japanese liner is indeed clearly influenced by the German design.

I like it! I wish mine came with original liner. My helmet has a high quality repro leather liner complete with pads and strings, but no stamp. And mine cost the same as yours, so you got a great deal IMO.
