    I'm used to seeing 大 as the abbreviation for Ōsaka; however, 阪 is also used as a suffix for Ōsaka:

    • 下阪 【Ge-Han】 (n,vs) proceeding from Tōkyō to Osaka
    • 在阪 【Zai-Han】 (n,vs) being in Osaka
