Type 90 Helmet, What did I miss?

I find a lot of helmets on ebay are overpriced and people pay way to much for helmets that aren't worth the money

I would stay away from that one. I also have questions about the paint and that liner looks way too good. There is rust on one steel loop, but not any rust on the chin strap steel loop. I also don't see any rust on the leather from the one rusty loop. Leads me to believe the liner has been replaced. I wouldn't waste too much money on that lid.

Yes I am now quite glad I was stopped regarding bidding when I did. After reading some of the educated comments here I think there would have been regrets had I won at my top bid (which was still less than half the final going price). Cheers
