Unit marked flask ?

A Showa 16 (1941) stamped flask. Is this some kind of unit designation mark?

There's no way to tell what kind of unit marking that is, but the canteen was a 1941 product by Nigiriya, whose post war pots and pans show a sharper version of the logo also on your canteen.
