Hey gang!

I picked up this piece today. It was accompanied by the envelope in which it was shipped back to the gentleman's wife.

Very cool Item! I have one of these myself but not with the accompanying packaging it was sent home in! That would look cool framed up next to the flag.

That is a very nice historical Yosegaki flag. Which may be an owner of a IJN SNLF!

On the right side wrote: メナド敵前上陸 (Landed on Enemy Frontline at Manado).

Also the immediate next wrote: 一月十九日 スラバヤ敵前上陸 ( Jan 19th Landed on Enemy Frontline at Surabaya).

Finally, on far left wrote: 二月十日 マカッサル敵前上陸 (Feb 10th Landed on Enemy Frontline at Makassar).

All three invasion were conducted by the IJN.

It would be nice to see it framed.
