Ww2 japanese naval helmet ?
Guys I found this local, Seller said that her grandfather was in the Korean War and brought this home from Korea. I am unsure if the paint and Insignia are original, would the naval helmets have the painted yellow anchor with star Insignia over it? Or was the Star added afterwards? Thank you in advance and any help is always greatly appreciated
Original navy helmet & paint. Unfortunately someone removed all the liner hardware. Star insignia likely from an army peak cap. I'd remove insignia & leave shell as is.

Yeah the seller wants 150 to 200. ...
Not worth that at all - its nothing but a wall hanger (after you remove the star) becasue, as Jareth pointed out, the riveted in hardware is gone. IMO I wouldn't buy it for any price unless your a junker/hoarder type... nothing personal
