1945 RSI passport

Hi,

Wanted to share images of a RSI passport that was issued at their consulate in Berlin in early 1945.
Amazingly it is properly visaed towards the end of April, and returning back home 2 weeks before the end of the war, in one of the remaining locations that "Nazi Germany" was still existing...

A very nice piece of history there Neil , have you any idea what his profession was ....i cant make out the hand writing .

Profession is marked as "impiegato" meaning employee, that's it.
He was not a forced worker or agricultural laborer as many were, could have been working at an Italian firm or office in Berlin; more likely around Berlin because the reisdence permit was issued at Niederbarnim, part of the district of Brandenburg.
