Collar tabs: help identifying

Article about: I was wondering if anyone has ever seen these collar tabs before. My grandpa brought them back from Italy. I think they are some kind of veteran item. Your opinion would be great. Thanks aga

    The little blue badges are the Italian National Association of Veterans!.....

    I wonder how much they predate ww2, that's when my Grandpa got them. I posted pics of a sash or banner that says something similar.

    The associazione naz combattenti badges are quite early, from 1919 until 1923 when Mussolini chenged the name to Associazione nazionale combattenti e reduci, so it looks like the collar tabs belonged to a WW1 veteran who joined the fascist Italian forces!....

    Yep i reckon the sash is from the same era, 1919 until 1923!......
