Desert cammo m33

IS this a original desert ww2 cammo helmet and does the insignia painted on both sides mean anything?

Ive never seen Italian helmets with the palm tree on it. Others might have though.

I have also never seen an Italian helmet with palm tree insignia.

I am also concerned that the name is so bright white and doesn't really match the age or discoloration of the rest of the helmet.

What does the paper tag say?

To me parts of the decal are painted over the old chips on the undercoat.
I too have never seen a decal like this on an Italian helmet, that’s not to say they never painted things like this on them.

Other than that it looks like a nice wartime m33.

the handwritten writing might be a place in Algeria called Sidi Bel Abbes if thats what it says as someone suggested
