Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....
Bumped this old thread and moved here to the new Italian forum, as I feel that is the origin of this badge, unless some can advise better?
Cheers, Ade.

JEDEM DAS SEINE
Any chance of a pic of the reverse?
I'd like to know the size and see the reverse of this item...It actually looks more like a Union Eagle...Furniture Ornament is my first guess as well..
Glenn
Yes , i would like to see the reverse also if possible .
REGARDS AL
We are the Pilgrims , master, we shall go
Always a little further : it may be
Beyond that last blue mountain barred with snow
Across that angry or that glimmering sea...
I don't think it has anything to do with the Civil War or the Union. Most of the eagles from that period looked more like chickens. Other than the 5 stars at the top I persoanlly don't see anything US about it. IMO
Thanks
Burt
