Italian generals summer peak cap opinions

I would like your opinions on this Generals peak cap .Is it original or a post war copy?

Hi,

....hmmmm..... there are two details that made me stomach ache at a glance. The chinstrap and the edge of the Visor. The chinstrap has the shagreened borders which are typical of postwar/modern italian chinstraps. The finish of the edge of the visor is way too thick (almost ugly) unusual on period visors and unusual even on modern Military issue visors... propably if we examine it furthermore in detail we will find even more alarm bells.
I'm sorry to say but I would say this is a fake. Of course this wants to be my personal opinion.
