Italian M34 Alpini Bustina - Lieutenant

Could use a little help here...

I have what I think is a private purchase WW2 Italian M34 Bustina for a Lieutenant of the Alpini (Mountain) Artillery.

Extremely fine wool material with nice aged bullion insignia. Silk/Rayon lining and mint leather sweatband. I would say it is almost unworn.

My only concerns are the:

1) Snaps - I haven't seen an example with the snaps showing
2) Size - It has both metric and non metric sizing.

So...the question? Post war or wartime.

In my opinion this piece is fine and original. The 1st mountain Artillery Regiment was part of the Taurinense Alpine Division and the Headquarter of the regiment was located in Fossano, near Cuneo, Northern Italy
