    Hi
I like this tunic but have not got a clue about Italian militaria and was wandering if anyone knows whether it is legit or not as it seems very cheap at £265. The tunic is described on tigercollectibles.co.uk as a very nice uniform of tunic & breeches for a officer of the italian Modena Division which operated in yugoslavia & greece, tunic has all its insignia in good order and is a very attractive item, the breeches have dark blue strpes down the legs with lace-up ankles. One of the tunic pockets contains a pair of religious medallions, these were often carried by officers and troops and are original to the uniform.

    G'day
I'm not expert either on these, but here's my worse for wear example for a comparison. I obtain this in a pile of second hand junk at a flea market along with a Aussie major 6th division signals jacket

Inside the uniform there is the label with the tailor shop name: "La Patriottica". It means "the patriottic" (tailor shop). Curiosly, "la" is the italian determinative article ("the") but in female gender

    Hi Comleyn,

I will use this occasion to post for the first time here!

The tunic is nice but the price is already in the high range for a standard mod. 34 officier uniform. You would also need to make sure that the collar tabs are originally sewed to the tunic.

    Cheers
    Teka
