Nicely detailed embroidery..Italian flag colors twisted cotton border. Ribbed green wool base material. The runes and facsist symbol appear to be silk thread..Passes the burn and UV test...Fantasy item? Any ideas?

'Legione SS Italia' perhaps? I can't comment on originality, but... if original, this would be a very rare find.

Pretty "elaborate" fantasy thing..It looks a bit old too!
I want to be kind, maybe something handmade by some vet during the 60's for example?
Even if im pretty sure ex SS volunteers who survived the war had very bad times in the post war time..
