Regarding the first photo, i have cropped the people so that you can see their insignia better.

The Tank is a MkI (A9) British Cruiser tank.

I know little about Italian kit, sorry. I know rank for Officers was indicated by stars on the field service cap.

    Cheers, Ade.

    Thank you Ade.
You just saved me from posting in the Allied section in order to get an ID for the tank

I think all the guys around the motorcycle are enlisted men or NCO's.

We would need a big close up on the Officers to see the cuff ranks.

Thanks Ade. Even those with stars on the collars? I checked the link but is describes the insignia for caps, shoulder boards and sleeve chevrons. But the collar tabs are also denoting specific ranks right?

The stars on the collar are worn by all ranks and show branch of service via the coloured backing.
