Thank you Larry i don't own the Plaque anymore as sold it to a Italian collector who contacted me at the time i added this item here , He was happy to buy it and Happy to have it in his collection thats all that matters to me , The originals aren't big money items and the fakes i have seen are crudly poorly made and turn up on ebay some times for around the 50 USD mark ,Thats all i have to say on this matter

$50 US ..IMO is a short term gain and would cost me more in energy to reproduce and sell a fake than what its worth in materials.

I would consider it more of a loss for the faker of his time ..all for a few dollars. I say this in regards to all those items under the $100 range.
In the end..the faker will have some lunch money.

But there are those who feel if they sell enough of them ..they can become millionaires ?

Very interesting links also that were provided in this thread.
    Regards Larry

As i said before, to judge those on the metal kind and nothing more could it be a bit too much confident!
Ive seen more then one fake plates made in aluminium yes, but the quality was very poor, and saying those were produced only in bronze its not realistic!
Seen many from UK or Australia brought back by Vets for example, some in bronze, some in aluminium, with still the original set up of prongs and plate backside!
Dear Kanister, why dont you show us one of the nice fakes your friend makes?
To prove the quality of those, im really curious about it, and ive read it on other forums too!
Just because you've seen him produce it, does not mean that all the aluminium ones around were made by him!
