These are from Germanwarbooty website. A good dealer. These match up as "Line Infantry" in the links I provide.

Yes, I found that on the last link . Thank you for the efforts put forth in your replies. I'm a semi-novice collector and most of my items to date are German or American, though my interests run wide.

It's Italian Infantry , made of brass it was used for shoulder boards by nco's and or's. they were attached by the three metal hoops in the back. not sure of dates used 20s through to 30s?, If you see the same badge with a number in it that would be a hat Badge (Pith helmets,M16 helmet) Also it has 2 prongs in the back to secure it . Hope this helps
