i would say ww2 m33 but as for the commo paint im not shore. the liner has the two srait stiches at the back not the zig zag stich. whitch the strait is ww2.

I agree ww2 helmet. The green leather chin strap held on with two rivets on to the bales. And the fact that the fingers of the liner aren’t metal reinforced points to ww2 era. It may be a early m33 helmet the vent rivets would tell that story.

As far as I am aware your helmet has the earliest type rivet vents. Which I think dates it to pre ww2, so it was most probably used ww2. The batch number must be pre war.
I still say a nice ww2 pick up.

Great for $20 I agree. I can't comment on the paint as I have no experience at all with Italian camo helmets.
