Here is the next instalment guys, a nice brass dogs head SA. And yes some must be saying that I am getting a lot of Weimar era.political buckle lately well yes I must admit I am straying into the dark side a wee bit. I have been around David North and Adam Echols for too long

Really one of my favorite designs and a scarce one to come by. Attached here is a "Dog Head" trio. To my mind, the 3 main characteristics of this SA (aside from the obvious...) are 1) a centrally positioned swastika, 2) closely positioned solder points & 3) sharp prongs. Examples also seen in nickel-over-brass, one of which Mr. Lachance holds and is leaving his dear collector friend Adam in his will lol

The same reverse construction characteristics on two other buckles from my collection...a feuerwehr & NSBO. I also know this unique reverse make up to be seen on a small/variant helmet Stahlhelmbund.
