Extended beak SA

In my opinion this is a very distinct and good looking SA buckle, however the beak to the eagle is horribly "Bosch".

Perhaps (a) the style of the box "ears", (b) the light horizontal striations on the box "ears" and (c), the dimple or cup backed box - would suggest Overhoff ?

With what you have said David and especially the ears I think you are bang on the money there IMO any others got any opinions?

A good looking "Sun Wheel" Adam and it is interesting to note the factory repositioning of the brazed catch.

As a side note, although with the tongue in cheek reference to Hieronymus Bosch, here are three randomly selected SA eagle heads which I think are quite bizarre by their design.
