Thank you for taking the time to give such a detailed explanation. When something out of the "Norm" pops up, it's always a concern that it has been messed with to give false appearances - but it is refreshing to know, that although my first thoughts were it were it was a good period buckle (without the tab of course), my other concern was the wear on it, as you said, most are in mint unworn condition, just like the Wehrmannschaften armbands that almost everyone calls the "SA Sports Armband"

I do appreciate you passing on your vast knowledge - but I must not forget to mention Ben, who never ceases to amaze me.
