...hopefully the pictures are now attached and would welcome thoughts from anyone on this...
In my opinion, a very interesting SA buckle and especially if you have a penchant for unusual makers marks and possibly, methods of finishing.
Is the buckle by any chance magnetic, that is a steel box which has been finished by a brass or whatever coating?
A rare and seldom seen SA in my opinion and attached is a truly dreadful image of the same, however with a silver finish on a die stamped steel box.
Regards and best wishes,
David

A rare maker indeed, if correct from the M1 Codes Georg Bonitz Schwarzenberg.

Dear David
Many thanks for your response and, in answer to your question --- Yes, it is steel with a brass coating.
Sadly this has worn on the high points leaving it with a less than mellow look!
Nevertheless we know that it's a 'good one' and, thanks to Ben's confirmation, have established the maker.
Kind Regards

Thanks Ben.
It would be good to see the 119 fake that you mentioned, if anyone has one, just for the purpose of comparison.
Now that I've got the hang of posting images I'll send more in due course.
Best Wishes

I have a HJ marked with RZM 119.
And I think that the prevailing meaning is that the maker is Kallenbach Meyer & Franke. (M5 code)
If you want, also compare with RZM 1 and RZM 3.
