SA buckles

Hello,

here my new pickups from today :

1. SA 2piece construktion .

Can it be that the eaglesdesign is E.Schneider ?



2. Another SA 2 piece construktion

the Roundel is silverplatet brass and the eagles background is peppeld .

Are this a buckle of a know'n marker ?

I know this design without peppled background in 1 piece and 2 piece construktion.

Two nice SA buckles. I have all my buckles on a memory card so I can keep track of all the different pattern SA buckle.

Hello Markus,

Two nice SA's you've shared. Unfortunately I cannot confirm the maker of the first buckle as E. Schneider. What makes you think this might be the maker? Attached here are my two examples with this roundel design.

The 2nd SA is one that is (as you know) a fairly common but quite nice design. I know of this design in 2-piece brass, 1-piece brass and 1-piece nickel over brass. It is just conjecture, but I think the maker could perhaps be Berg & Nolte.

By the second type you shure that is Berg & Nolte ?

In my opinion the design is light different to B&N , or can it be that B&N had more than

one designs on buckles ???????
