Got this interesting set a few days ago. The buckle is missing a lot of it's silver finish but the markings made it worth picking up. One of the few SA/NSKK buckles marked RZM M/4. The code number is 30 so it is Berg & Nolte. Came with a nice belt marked Croupon and a 358. Looks like the sets been together forever.

Another nice set, typical B&N catch on the buckle, the belt looks to be Weimar

Glad you like it. I have only found one other example and that was in David North's collection. It was in a little better condition. A friend just bought a large collection from the brother of a collector who passed away 5 years ago. Must be 15-20 uniforms, lots of headgear. The belt and buckles weren't anything special but I liked the marking on this set. Mostly common stuff but I would have jumped on the collection at the right price.

Great buckle I saw it on the sticky thread. Why two different makers codes?

The double-marked, side stamped buckle is excellent

    Hello,

think we can say RZM 36 is the early marking bevor 1935 .

And RZM M4/30 is the regular marking from the year 1935 .

So it is a buckle from the transitional period................
