Hi Chaps. I could do with your thoughts on this one. It looks like it has been put together wrong?

Hi, looks to me, like the user of this buckle, re-solded the shield, for left-hand wear !?
They certainly didn,t do a very good job. It,s not even central. Has anyone come across this before? Or is it a total fake?

An interesting SA and in my opinion, quite original.
As having already been mentioned, there is a suggestion that the roundel could have been purposely applied "upside down" for use by a left handed person, although having said that, it may just be a Friday afternoon cottage industry mistake.
I have a few of these in my SA collection and attached are images of one. Note that yet again, a low positioned roundel.

I have a mate, who is left handed and did resoldering of buckles he wears, thats why I think, it is like that. And the lower roundel, could be done, so you can see the shield better... under a big tummy or is belly the better word - cheers Thomas
a very interesting thread guys!!
Once upon a time I had a 2 piece Dj buckle which had the rune upside down .. I thought that it was just a manufacturing mistake.. never thought of the left handed option..
thanks for sharing!!
