Aluminum SS Buckle RZM 36/40: Original?

Hello All,

A friend asked my opinion on the attached buckle... While these are not my area and a veritable minefield, I must also admit to you all that I am shamefully uneducated in these buckles and being lazy at the moment. That being said, what do you boys think about this one? The RZM mark looks to have been scratched out. He would like a thumbs up or down and also a fair price range for the buckle.

i dont like this one,,,details are to soft,,some markings scratched off,,,to me,details of the bird,lettering are not correct,,,

Adam, IMO this is a cast fake, look at the prong sleeve how they turn up at the ends, this is one of the red flags that I look for, there also looks like there are cast marks on the buckle. Can you get him to measure it?

in my opinion it is a moldet bad fake .

You can proof the mesure , but it is little smaler then Originals .

I too was thinking molded reproduction....."softness" and colour are leading me to that conclusion....
