Browsed many threads, can't seem to find this one, catch seen on many common fakes

Wasn't that big a deal, SS buckles are expensive, I've never needed one that bad. That and the fact that they are a minefield of fakes makes me very content to have a few real buckles, Heer, Luft, und Polizei.
